2026-2027 Softball Moratorium Declaration

With the implementation of the new state law regarding total moratorium weeks, schools may select the moratorium that best fits their softball program. The standard schedule currently runs for six consecutive weeks from November 30, 2026 through January 17, 2026. Please review the available options below, select one, and complete by October 1, 2026.

Mandatory Association-Wide Moratorium Dates: Regardless of the option selected above, all sports programs must continue to observe the following mandatory moratorium periods:

• Thanksgiving: November 26-29

• Christmas: December 21-25

• New Year’s Day: January 1

• Summer Moratorium: June 28 - July 4 (2027)
